ISP Says Chain E-mail Urban Legend
Last updated on Tuesday, May 29, 2007
(INDIANAPOLIS) - State police say a chain e-mail claiming they’re issuing tickets for going as little as six miles an hour over the limit is an urban legend.
But spokesman Dave Bursten says it's true the agency is trying to crack down on speeders and unsafe drivers.
He says troopers don't mind the e-mail making the rounds, if it scares people into slowing down, Bursten says it'll help keep the roadways safe.
