Dr. Pushes For Healthier Indiana

(STATEHOUSE) - Indiana Health commissioner Dr. Judy Monroe has brought medical professionals and public health providers to the Statehouse to push for a healthier Indiana.
She says now is a perfect time to promote better health because Indiana will soon enact a new cigarette tax to get people to quit smoking.
Monroe says it's also a good time to make sure people are getting immunized with more funding available.
