Two Virgina Tech Slain Came From Purdue

(UNDATED) - Two of the people slain at Virginia Tech have strong ties to Purdue University.

Fifty-one-year-old G.V. Loganathan was a civil and environmental engineering professor at Virginia Tech. He graduated with a doctorate in civil engineering in 1982 from Purdue.

Kevin Granata served as an engineering science and mechanics professor at Virginia Tech. He earned his undergraduate and master's degrees from Purdue University in 1986.
