Super Hero Museum Opens In Indianapolis
(INDIANAPOLIS) - A new playground for super hero enthusiasts has opened in downtown Indianapolis.
A replica of Batmobile from the 1989 film "Batman" and other collectibles are featured inside the new American Super Heroes Museum.
Museum curator Dane Nash owns the collection that fills the site. The Fishers resident has the second largest collection of Superman memorabilia in the world.
American Super Heroes Museum Spokesman David Morton hopes the museum will serve as an inspiration for visitors, encouraging them to become real-life super heroes.
The museum includes screen-worn costumes, movie and television artifacts, toys, posters, and other collectibles. Morton says some of those items will eventually be available for purchase.
The American Heroes Museum is open Monday through Saturday from 10:00AM to 9:00PM and Sunday from 10:00AM to 6:00PM.
