Man Will Plea Guilty In Murder Of Young Girl

(FORT WAYNE) - A Fort Wayne man is expected to plead guilty in Delaware County this week to killing a 10-year-old girl.
35-year-old Simon Rios was scheduled for trial this month in connection to the death of Alejandra Gutierrez.
As part of a plea, Rios will admit to charges of murder, rape and child molesting and prosecutors will agree to recommend Rios serve life without parole.
However, Rios faces the death penalty if convicted of killing his wife and their three daughters. His trial on those charges is set to begin in October.
