Lizton Hit Hard With Severe Storms

(LIZTON) - A violent evening of severe weather cut a swath of destruction across the small Hendricks County town of Lizton.

Fire fighters and emergency management crews spent Wednesday night picking up the wreckage. Several houses suffered storm damage, including one where a tree limb slammed the front of the home.

Officials also say an old barn was destroyed by what appears to have been a twister. No one was seriously hurt.
