Second Trial Begins In Kirkham Murder Case

(KOKOMO) - A second jury trial in the August 2004 murder of 48-year-old Gordon Kirkham is set to begin today in Howard County.
Danny Thomas is accused of beating and killing Kirkham, a former Monticello man. Thomas' first trial in November ended in a mistrial.
Kirkham's body was found lying in the living room of his home. Police said he had been severely beaten in the head, hands and face with some type of pipe or heavy object.
