(FORT WAYNE) - A Florida man who claimed he didn’t have to pay more than $200,000 dollars in child support will spend two years in prison in Fort Wayne.

53-year-old James Andrews argued in court that he didn't have to pay because he wasn't an Indiana resident. He also claimed that because he's catholic, he still considers himself married to his former wife, even though he got a divorce and has remarried.

Andrews was married to a Fort Wayne woman for 17 years and has six children with her.
