(NOBLESVILLE) - A Noblesville woman set to stand trial for stabbing her boyfriend to death has instead chosen to plead guilty in the case.

Alnita Johnson admits stabbing Dwain Bryant and hitting him with a cooking pot.

She'd originally claimed she found Bryant already dead on the floor of the couple's apartment in October.

Johnson has prior convictions for battery and criminal recklessness in Lake County following attacks on her children.
