Last updated on Friday, March 30, 2007
(MUNCIE) - A Muncie woman who shot and killed her boyfriend in an argument last year has been sentenced to 25 years in prison.
43-year-old Tamara Drumm was convicted of voluntary manslaughter last month in connection with the shooting death of 42-year-old Rick Kummer.
During the trial, Drumm testified that Kummer physically and emotionally abused her and that she feared for her safety when she fired a single shot from her handgun.
