Mother Faces Drunk Driving Charges After Crash

(MUNCIE) - Delaware County prosecutors have filed felony charges against a mother who crashed her car into a tree last week, leaving her son with serious injuries.
Authorities say 23-year-old Sophia Wallace was intoxicated at the time of the accident.
The woman's son, four-year-old Jayden Patton was not restrained in a booster seat and was found lying injured in the back seat after the crash.
Police reports said Wallace's blood-alcohol content was more than twice the legal limit to drive.
