Gas Station Employee Charged With Stealing Funds
Last updated on Monday, March 26, 2007
(FORT WAYNE) - A former gas station attendant has been charged with stealing more than $14,000 dollars from her employer.
Police say Tamra Hollen embezzled the cash by depositing five bank drops in her personal account.
After police conducted an October audit of the store's records on suspicion of theft, they discovered the alleged wrongdoing.
Hollen claims she knows nothing of the missing cash, despite the fact the deposits are solely her responsibility.
