Police Surprised With Lack Of Accidents and Slide Offs Tuesday
(UNDATED) - Indiana State Police have extra patrols on the roadways to answer accidents and slide off calls.
Sergeant Dave Bursten says they were surprised by how well motorists fared on Tuesday during their morning and evening commutes.
Bursten says that there have been some reports of drivers going too fast for conditions, with many accidents happening as a result.
State Police say they answered dozens of calls about slide offs, accidents, and other weather related mishaps so far.
