(INDIANAPOLIS) - For the first time in history, Amber Alerts will go directly to airports.

Thanks to a new program spearheaded by the Transportation Safety Administration, airport screeners at Indianapolis International will get notices and photographs of abducted children.

Across the country, some 43,000 airport screeners will participate in the program.
