Amber Alert Issued For Hoosier Mother And Four Children

(ELKHART) - An Amber Alert remains in effect for an abducted Elkhart woman and her four children.
Police say 30-year-old Jerry White broke into a house Saturday, shot a man, held his ex-girlfriend and their children hostage for nine hours, then forced them into a car and fled.
Police believe White and the hostages may have been headed to Chicago.
