(UNDATED) - There will be relief for low-income Hoosiers trying to stay warm this winter.

The Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority begins accepting applications today for Indiana's energy assistance program. The program offers federal cash to offset the cost of winter heating bills.

Those eligible are people earning less than 150% of the federal poverty level. Any single person making less than $14,700 qualifies.
