Teenager Collects Toys For Iraq
Last updated on Friday, November 10, 2006
(INDIANAPOLIS) - Toys of all shapes and sizes are on their way to Iraq, thanks to a 13-year old Indianapolis girl.
Rachael Hoenstine collected toys, items for soldiers and donations to send over to a friend of hers, stationed near Baghdad. He will be distributing the toys to children in the war torn Iraqi capital.
Hoenstine is asking for donations to help cover the costs of shipping and handling. She says Senator Richard Lugar has offered his assistance.
