(MOUNT VERNON) - Turkey from a unique Indiana farm could be sitting on your dinner table this Thanksgiving.

The Uebelhack family runs one of the last free-range turkey farms on a one-and-a-half acre patch of land in Mount Vernon.

Owner Dennis Uebelhack says he follows older farming techniques, choosing not to raise turkeys in environmentally controlled barns. He claims the "traditional" approach keeps his birds from getting sick.

About two thousand, 17-to-20 pound birds are being sold at the farm. The farmer also sells turkey salami, cajun turkey, and "gobble sticks." You can purchase Uebelhack turkey products by visiting the farm.
