Holiday Sales To Be Up This Black Friday
Last updated on Friday, November 24, 2006
(WEST LAFAYETTE) - Experts say this year’s edition of “Black Friday” will be a good one for holiday sales for a few simple reasons.
Purdue Professor of Retail Management Richard Feinberg says the biggest factor is that gas and heating oil prices are nowhere near last year's levels, meaning each Hoosier is expected to have as much as one hundred more free dollars to spend on other people this year.
