Jury To Decide Myers Fate
Last updated on Monday, October 30, 2006
(MARTINSVILLE) - Final arguments in the murder trial of John R. Myers will begin today, after his defense rested Friday having called only two witnesses.
The 12-member jury will begin deliberations on whether Myers abducted I.U. student Jill Behrman in 2000 and killed her with a shotgun blast to the back of her head.
Myers has pleaded not guilty. If convicted, he faces up to 65 years in prison.
