(UNDATED) - Another e-mail scam has popped up in inboxes across the U.S., referencing the FBI.

FBI officials in Indianapolis say while they haven't gotten any complaints about the spam emails, they are aware of the situation and want to put people on alert.

The FBI has issued a warning concerning an e-mail that claims to offer a big cash payment and talks about director Robert Mueller.

The recipient then receives a second e-mail that threatens the user will face federal charges if they do not respond.
