Indiana Family Chosen For Extreme Makeover

(SAINT MEINRAD) - A southern Indiana family is the latest to be selected to get a new home from ABC television’s show “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.”
The Farinas heard a knock on their door yesterday and found out that they had been selected for an episode of the show, in which the family's home will be rebuilt in just one week.
Steve and Shawna Farina have three young children. Shawna is currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer.
The Farinas have been taken out of town for a cruise. They're scheduled to return home to their new home October 2nd.
