Students Fesses Up Finding Octopus
Last updated on Friday, August 11, 2006
(JEFFERSONVILLE) - A college student has owned up to placing an octopus in the Ohio River.
Twenty-one--year old Zachary Treitz says he purchased the creature from a seafood shop and used it for a film project.
The octopus was already dead at the time Treitz bought it.
If it was alive when tossed in the river, it would not have survived long, because octopi are native to the salty climes of oceans.
