(INDIANAPOLIS) - It may take ten years or more according to Indiana’s health commissioner for a state healthy-lifestyles push to make a noticeable impact.
The Trust for America's Health latest report still ranks Indiana the 8th-fattest state in the nation, with another one-percent of the population considered obese. Indiana was ninth last year.
Judy Monroe says the INShape Indiana program can offer tips and encouragement, but significant improvement will require local action.
