(CORYDON) - A Louisville man has been slapped with 11 felony charges after starting a high-speed chase with police which spanned two states.

Thirty-seven-year old Trent Marion had been accused of shoplifting from a grocery store when the chase began.

Speeds reached 90 miles per hour and neither stop sticks nor road blocks could slow Marion's progress.

Police eventually fired into Marion's vehicle, hitting him in both wrists and his right eye, which later had to be surgically removed.
