High School Company Sued by State
(UNDATED) - Indiana Attorney General Steve Carter has filed a lawsuit against Illinois-based Liberty Publishing, which does business as Booster Club Promotions.
Carter brought suit after businesses in several Indiana counties contacted his office and said the company had told them that proceeds from advertisement sales would benefit the local high school or local high school booster club.
However, the schools allegedly never got proceeds when businesses paid for advertisements on posters displaying the schedules of local high school athletic teams.
