(UNDATED) - Indiana Congressman Steve Buyer is back from a week-long trip to Iraq.
Buyer, Chairman of the House Veterans Affairs Committee, and V.A. Secretary Jim Nicholson were part of a U.S. delegation that met with the Iraqi president and other government leaders in Baghdad.
Buyer stated the meeting with Talabani left him confident about the country's success.
The republican also says the government recognizes that they need security and stability for the unity government to succeed.
