Two Hoosier Projects Heading To Space

(CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA) - NASA continues to try to blast the space shuttle Discovery into space and projects of at least two scientists with Indiana ties will go along for the ride.
Former Martinsville resident Laura Higgins will send fruit flies into space to see how their metabolism is affected.
Purdue Researcher Steven Collicott will await results from fluid dynamics experiments he's sending into orbit to learn more about liquids behaving in zero gravity.
