(EVANSVILLE) - State police say they’re confident the suspect in Monday’s triple murder in Pike County has left the state.

Spokesman Todd Ringle says authorities think 23-year-old Nicholas Harbison has headed west with his girlfriend and two-year-old daughter. They've alerted police agencies to watch for the bronze Taurus he's believed to be driving.

Harbison is accused of shooting two brothers from Francisco, the girlfriend of one of the brothers, and a 17-year-old girl in a cornfield near Bowman. One of the brothers survived and is hospitalized in serious condition. Police still don't have a motive for the killings.
