(MADISON) - Police continue their probe into the Madison Regatta car crash that sent 10 people to the hospital.

Madison Police Chief Bob Wolf believes toxicology test results may help officers determine why 18-year-old driver Michael Bowen passed out before striking the crowd and plunging into the Ohio River. The Jefferson County Prosecutor will also review those results before deciding whether to file charges.

Wolf says the 16-year-old passenger has been cooperating with investigators. Two female victims remain inside a Louisville hospital to receive treatment for serious injuries.
