Police Continue Investigation Of Mother-Son Murder

(FRANKLIN) - Franklin Police are continuing to investigate the murders of a mother and her stepson.
Police report that both bodies had sustained multiple stab wounds. Now the Johnson County Coroner has determined that 26-year-old Chynna Dickus died from stab wounds and 10-year-old Blake Dickus died from blunt force trauma.
The pair was found by the husband and father in their home on Aberdeen Drive late Monday afternoon. Franklin Police Chief John Borges says investigators are currently following up on good leads in the case.
Borges also notes that the husband, 33-year-old Stephen Dickus, has been cooperating with investigators and there is nothing specific at this time pointing to his involvement with the case.
