Gas Prices Approach The $3.00 Mark

(UNDATED) - The average price for regular unleaded gasoline hit the $3.00 mark last week.

Greg Seiter with Hoosier AAA Motor Club says don't blame your local station for the high prices by boycotting because they have no control over prices. He says Americans need to address the problem by constructing more refineries and looking to alternative fuels.

Seiter says you can stretch mileage by making sure tires are properly inflated, suspension and steering are properly aligned, brakes are properly adjusted, and oil is changed regularly.
