Movie Hoosiers To Celebrate 20 Years

(KNIGHTSTOWN) - A week-long series of events celebrating the 20-year anniversary of the opening of the movie “Hoosiers” begins Saturday.
"Hoosiers: A 20 Year Celebration" begins with a parade that includes Director David Anspaugh and screenwriter Angelo Pizzo and will be announced by Tom Carnegie.
A gala dinner and auction of sports memorabilia is planned at the gym Saturday evening.
New I.U. head coach Kelvin Sampson is among several celebrities expected to attend the dinner.
Meanwhile the only-known 35-millimeter print of the film still known to exist will be shown at the gym Sunday evening.
