Grants Awarded To Help Create New Jobs
Last updated on Friday, June 16, 2006
(UNDATED) - The Indiana Department of Workforce Development is distributing grants across the state.
It's part of the 23-million dollar strategic skills initiative, which is the governor's attempt to build up Indiana's workforce by providing training opportunities in occupational areas that are projected to be short supply.
South Central Indiana will be awarded a grant to help create new jobs in the region's bio-manufacturing, health care and hospitality industries.
