FSSA Employees Sentenced For Scam
(INDIANAPOLIS) - Two of the three women charged in a scam to defraud the Family and Social Services Administration were sentenced in Marion County Criminal Court.
Mary Miracle is a former FSSA employee who admitted she embezzled hundreds of thousands of dollars that provides temporary assistance to needy families over a two year period.
Miracle will spend two years behind bars. Stephanie Russell was also sentenced to two years in community corrections for her role in the scheme. Both reached a plea agreement with the prosecutor's office.
