Foreman To Stand Trial On Million Dollar Scheme

(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Hoosier Lottery official accused of cheating on a million dollar game may soon get his day in court.
William Foreman has a challenge to the possible sentence of 50 years in the court of appeals, but a Marion County judge has scheduled foreman's preliminary hearing for July 13th. If Foreman loses his appeal, the trial will begin in September.
Foreman is a former lottery official who is accused of tipping off two accomplices on the location of a million-dollar scratch off ticket. Those men have agreed to plead guilty and be sentenced to one year of probation, but the judge says the terms are not satisfactory and wants more negotiations.
