Accused Killer Being Held In Correctional Facility

(TERRE HAUTE) - The Vigo County man accused of killing one son and injuring another will await trial while in the custody of the Indiana Department of Corrections.
33-year-old Katron Walker will be held at the Plainfield Correctional facility instead of the Vigo County jail because of security reasons.
Walker faces charges of murder and attempted murder for the death of four-year-old Collin Walker and the stabbing of two-year-old Monte Walker.
Katron is due back in Vigo County Court Monday to have a public defender assigned to his case.
