State Democratic Convention To Be Held Next Month

(INDIANAPOLIS) - The state Democratic Party will bring in a former leader to help run its convention next month.
Former Speaker of the House John Gregg will act as convention chairperson. Gregg was the house's ranking member from 1996 to 2002, the end of his 16-year tenure in the Statehouse.
During the convention, the Democrats will field opponents in the races to unseat Republican incumbents in the races for secretary of state, auditor and treasurer.
