(UNDATED) - You can expect gas prices to edge up as the holiday weekend approaches.

Greg Seiter with the AAA Hoosier Motor Club says there's no way to predict just how much higher they'll go, but historically before major holidays gas prices do go up.

If you'd like to go camping at a state facility this weekend, there are only two parks with vacancies left, Charlestown, right along the Ohio River and O'Bannon Woods north of Louisville.

Dan Bortner, director of Indiana's State Parks and Reservoirs, says to make a camping reservation go to the state's website www.in.gov and go to the DNR site.

He says the DNR has made an extra effort cleaning up the parks, mowing and adding playground equipment.
