$18-M Used For Low-Income

(INDIANAPOLIS) - The state says it plans to use an $18-million welfare surplus to give more cash to low-income families in the state.
Eliminating unqualified people from welfare lists created the cash overflow, allowing state leaders to re-allocate it to parents with child care needs.
As many as 3,000 children could benefit from the changes.
