Hoosier Lottery Criminal Case To Continue

(INDIANAPOLIS) - A Marion County judge has rejected a bid to throw out the criminal case against a former Hoosier Lottery Security Officer accused of fixing the game.
William Foreman is accused of tipping off two Shelby County men where a winning $2-million ticket would be sold so they could buy up all the tickets there.
Foreman's attorney, former Lottery Director Jack Crawford, contends the lottery law is unconstitutionally harsh. The 20 to 50 year sentence for leaking lottery information is the same as for attempted murder.
Crawford will ask the Indiana Court of Appeals to review the issue before the case goes to trial.
