Farmers Will Be Out In Force
(UNDATED) - Farmers will soon be moving from field to field as they focus on yet another spring planting season.
Although farmers are keeping track of fuel, fertilizer, herbicide and other farming issues, Dubois County Extension Agent Jim Peter says farmers must also help to promote safety along roadways.
Peter says motorists need to be prepared to brake for slow moving equipment and be ready to share the road, especially in areas featuring restricted visibilities and road widths.
