Travel And Vacation Plans May Be Too Good To Be True
UNDATED—Indiana Attorney General Steve Carter is urging Hoosiers looking to escape on vacation this spring to be cautious of travel and vacation purchase scams.
Carter also reminds consumers that timeshare resorts, travel club and vacation certificates may be tempting, but spending time to research the offer will pay off in the long run.
He says a paradise vacation could quickly turn into a nightmare if the accommodations aren't to your liking or the entire package ends up costing more because you didn't read the fine print.
