State's Medicaid Will Cover Telemedicine

(UNDATED) - The state’s Medicaid program will begin covering long distance patient-doctor visits.
Family and Social Services Administration Secretary Mitch Roob has announced that Telemedicine costs will be covered starting May 1st.
Telemedicine is used to link patients to doctors remotely through interactive videoconferencing and is especially beneficial for rural communities.
