BOONEVILLE—A jury has recommended a former State Trooper convicted of murdering his family spend the rest of his life in prison.

David Camm was convicted Friday of murdering his wife and their two children on the night of September 28, 2000.

It was the second time he had been convicted of the murders. His first conviction, in Floyd County, was overturned in August 2004 by the Indiana Court of Appeals. His second trial was moved to Warrick County because of publicity in Floyd County, where the murders occurred.

He will be officially sentenced March 28th. Warrick Superior Court Judge Robert Aylsworth is bound by the jury recommendation.
