Indiana Gaming Looking For Recruits
UNDATED—The Indiana Gaming Commission is looking for new civilian recruits to crack down on cheaters at the state’s riverboats.
Commissioner Ernie Yelton says he's not necessarily looking for people with a law enforcement background. Instead, qualified candidates might have collegiate criminology degrees or even a former career in finance or business.
That's because Yelton wants the officers to be less like cops and more like gaming aficionados trained to spot scammers, card counters and thieves.
