VINCENNES—A Knox County law enforcer in Vincennes is making a unique request of the people who elected him.

County Sheriff Steve Luce is asking people to volunteer to donate bone marrow to his brother, who suffers from Leukemia.

Neither Luce nor any of his family members have bone marrow similar enough to Luce's brother to be able to donate.

44-year-old Cliff Luce lives in Florida and needs the transplant to allow his body to build up a supply of white blood cells, which help fight the disease.
