(HOWARD CO.) - - Saturday, a criminal investigation by Indiana State Police Detective Josh Maller resulted in the arrest of Chad Bowlby, 46, Russiaville, IN. Bowlby was incarcerated in the Howard County Jail after Maller served him with a Howard Circuit Court arrest warrant. The warrant alleged felony charges for sexual misconduct with a minor, child solicitation, and sexual battery.

Maller started an investigation after receiving information that Bowlby had allegedly performed sex acts with a then 14-year-old girl. The investigation revealed that during the summer of 2018 until mid-December of 2018, Bowlby allegedly committed sexual acts with a then 14-year-old girl in Howard and Cass Counties.

Bowlby, a paramedic at the time of the purported crimes, will also face three charges of sexual misconduct with a minor in Cass County. He worked for a business which provided paramedics and ambulance service to the Cass County area.
