Town Of Santa Claus Will Be Featured On Hallmark Channel Tonight

(SANTA CLAUS) - Hallmark Channel’s “Christmas Across America” will include the famous Christmassy town of Santa Claus tonight at 6 p.m. Central Time.

Host Candace Cameron Bure will guide viewers in a special segment showcasing Christmassy places in America.
Bure played D.J. Tanner on "Full House."

Viewers will learn about the history of how letters to Santa are answered each year by a volunteer organization in Santa Claus, Indiana. The tradition of helping Santa answer letters started in 1914.

"We are thrilled for the town to be included in the Hallmark Channel's 'Christmas Across America' with Candace Cameron Bure," says Melissa Arnold, executive director of the Spencer County Visitors Bureau. "This small-but-famous town is certainly extra special during the holiday season and we're excited to share it with families from near and far."

Children can visit with Santa at the Santa Claus Christmas Store December 17 - 23: from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. CT.

Santa is off on Wednesday.

He will be at the store on Christmas Eve from 10 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. this will be Santa's last day at the store before delivering Christmas gifts to children around the world.
