(INDIANAPOLIS) - Gov. Eric J. Holcomb today announced Magistrate Jennifer L. DeGroote as his appointment to the Allen County Superior Court. She will succeed Judge Stanley A. Levine who will retire on Dec. 31.
DeGroote has served as a magistrate judge for the Allen County Superior Courts since 1999. She began her legal career in private practice. DeGroote earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan and her law degree from Valparaiso University School of Law.
DeGroote will be sworn in as the Judge of the Allen County Superior Court on a date to be determined.
